Informational service

TapScore provides independent summaries of public EPA records. It is not medical, legal, engineering, laboratory, or water-utility advice. Do not use a TapScore grade as a guarantee of present water quality.

Source data and limitations

EPA and state submissions can be delayed, amended, incomplete, or interpreted differently under rule-specific requirements. Historical violations may be resolved. Current utility notices, EPA records, and certified test results take precedence over this site.

Independent status

TapScore is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by EPA, a state regulator, or any water utility. Letter grades are TapScore calculations described on the Methodology page.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for lawful personal research. Do not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, misrepresent TapScore data as an official determination, or republish the site in a deceptive way.

No warranty

The site is provided as available without warranties of completeness, currency, fitness for a specific purpose, or uninterrupted availability, to the extent permitted by law.
